Skoda India Launches NFT Platform

Diksia.com - NEW DELHI – Skoda India, a subsidiary of Skoda Auto, has officially launched a non-fungible token (NFT) platform in partnership with Near Protocol.

The platform, called Škodaverse India, is designed for multi-platform use.

“Skodaverse India will also provide unique utilities and experiences for NFT holders, which will be unveiled along with the launch details. All NFTs will be minted on carbon-neutral blockchains, aligning with our sustainable vision,” said Skoda India in a statement on Tuesday (June 20, 2023).

The platform developers offer several benefits to its users, including ownership of unique digital assets representing Skoda’s artworks or collectibles, as well as exclusive future offerings.

“We are entering the Web3 space and inviting you to join us in exploring, collecting, and owning these unique digital artworks,” expressed the platform developers.

Founded in 1925 in Czechoslovakia, Skoda Auto has become one of the largest automobile manufacturers on the European continent at the time.

Skoda, acquired by the Volkswagen Group in 2000, has become one of the most popular car brands among Central and Eastern European countries, with a total delivery of 731,000 units in 2022.
