Another notable indie role for Pratt was as Grant Cutler, the brother of Ethan Hawke’s Pat Garrett, in The Kid. The movie, which is a revisionist western that follows the lives of Garrett, Billy the Kid, and a young boy who witnesses their encounters, was directed by Vincent D’Onofrio and featured Dane DeHaan as Billy the Kid.
