Summary of the Story

Plot Synopsis

The film begins with a flashback that shows how Zurab Radiani became the leader of a powerful Georgian crime syndicate after killing his father Davit Radiani in a coup. He then consolidated his power by eliminating his rivals and expanding his territory. However, he also made enemies with Avtandil, another Georgian crime lord who wanted to take over Zurab’s empire.

In the present day, Zurab is arrested by the Georgian police after being betrayed by one of his lieutenants. His wife Ketevan and his son Sandro are also captured by Avtandil’s men and taken to a secret prison. Avtandil then contacts Zurab and offers him a deal: he will spare his family if Zurab gives him access to his offshore accounts and assets.

Meanwhile, Tyler Rake is recovering from his injuries in a secluded cabin in Australia. He is visited by Nik Khan, who tells him that she has a new job for him. She explains that she has been hired by Zurab’s brother Ivayne, who wants to rescue his family from Avtandil. She also reveals that she has a personal stake in the mission, as her son Yaz is also being held hostage by Avtandil.

Tyler agrees to join Nik and they fly to Georgia with Tyler’s team of mercenaries. They meet with Ivayne, who gives them the details of the operation. They plan to infiltrate the prison where Zurab’s family and Yaz are being held, using a stolen armored truck and fake uniforms. They also have a contact inside the prison, Konstantine, who is a former Georgian special forces soldier and Zurab’s loyal friend.

The team executes the plan and manages to enter the prison. They locate Zurab’s family and Yaz and free them from their cells. However, they are soon discovered by Avtandil’s men and a fierce firefight ensues. The team fights their way out of the prison, but not without casualties. Konstantine is killed by Avtandil himself, while Nik is wounded by a grenade.

The team escapes from the prison and heads to a safe house, where they tend to Nik’s injury. They also contact Ivayne and inform him that they have rescued his family and Yaz. Ivayne tells them to meet him at a nearby airport, where he has arranged a plane for them.

However, as the team prepares to leave, they are ambushed by Avtandil’s men, who have tracked them down. Another intense gun battle erupts, and the team is outnumbered and outgunned. Tyler decides to stay behind and cover the others as they flee to the airport. He kills many of Avtandil’s men, but is eventually shot multiple times.

Meanwhile, Nik, Yaz, Ketevan, Sandro, and the remaining mercenaries reach the airport and board the plane. They are greeted by Ivayne, who thanks them for their service. However, he then reveals that he was the one who betrayed Zurab and sold him out to Avtandil. He explains that he wanted to take over Zurab’s empire and eliminate his competition. He then pulls out a gun and shoots Nik, Yaz, Ketevan, and Sandro in cold blood.

As Ivayne prepares to take off with the plane, he is confronted by Tyler, who has miraculously survived his wounds and followed him to the airport. Tyler shoots Ivayne in the head and avenges his fallen comrades. He then collapses on the ground, bleeding profusely.

The film ends with a scene that shows Tyler waking up in a hospital bed, surrounded by doctors and nurses. He looks at his chest and sees a scar from where he was shot in Dhaka. He then smiles faintly and closes his eyes.
