On the other hand, the Stock Exchange of Indonesia (BEI) fully supported the implementation of the ASEAN Investment Challenge 2023, in which more than 70 universities in Indonesia from 18 regions participated and will later compete.
Indonesia Stock Exchange Director Irvan Susandy said that through this competition, participants could learn a lot about the capital market in Indonesia and ASEAN and improve the skills required in the capital market sector.

Irvan added that this will not only increase the number of young investors in Indonesia, but also raise public awareness of sustainable investments for a better future.
The ASEAN Investment Challenge will last until January 2024. This event consists of two levels of competition, namely the national round and the regional round.
In addition, students from universities compete against each other in national rounds in trading challenges with trading platform simulators and carry out e-learning courses so that they not only acquire qualified investment knowledge, but can also experience this in real stocks. investors.
The top three winners from each country in the national round compete again in the regional round, resulting in the top three winners from the four countries being determined at the end of the competition.
