Zane and Kas are heartbroken by Damien’s decision, but they respect his authority as the alpha. He devises a plan to lure Kas into a trap by using Mia as bait. He sends a video message to Kas, showing her Mia’s condition and threatening to kill her if she does not come to him. He also tells her that he knows the truth about her parents and that he can tell her everything if she surrenders herself to him.
Kas is torn between saving her friend and risking her life. She decides to go alone, without telling anyone, hoping that she can rescue Mia and escape from Lucas. She leaves a note for Zane, telling him that she loves him and asking him to forgive her.
