Plot Summary
Omniscient Reader is divided into five volumes and an epilogue. Each volume covers a different arc of the story, with different settings, themes, conflicts, and goals.
The first volume is called The Beginning of The End. It introduces Kim Dokja as the protagonist and omniscient reader of Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World. It shows how his world turns into the world of the novel, and how he adapts to his new situation.
He meets some of his allies and enemies in this volume, such as Yoo Jonghyuk (the main character of the novel), Han Sooyoung (the author of the novel), Lee Hyunsung (a loyal and brave soldier), Lee Gilyoung (a young and talented hacker), Jung Heewon (a cheerful and optimistic nurse), and Uriel (a fallen angel and a scenario master).
The second volume is called The Ways of Survival. It focuses on Kim Dokja’s journey to survive in the world of the novel, and his attempts to change the plot of the story.
