The Popularity Of Threads Is Declining, There Were No Monthly Active Users Of This Application, Only 23.6 Million

According to a report by analytics company Similarweb, a week after this Twitter twin was released to the public, we saw a drop in Threads active users.

In line with Similarweb, market research firm Sensor Tower also reported that Mark Zuckerberg's Thread application has since lost popularity, with the number of daily users down by two digits since its release earlier last month.

Some analysts theorize that this drop is due to declining public opinion about Zuckerberg's new service. Before the drop in users happened, many netizens around the world expressed their disappointment with Meta as their personal Instagram account also disappeared when the thread account was permanently deleted.

In addition, netizens believe that the Twitter application is more convenient to use than Thread, which has a number of advantages, including the ability for users to log in with an Instagram account they already have.

Threads should also be able to upload text updates with a limit of 500 characters, as well as links, photos and videos up to five minutes in length.

In addition, Threads is equipped with a sharing function. With it, users can share their content through Instagram Stories and Feeds or in other applications like Twitter.

Unfortunately, despite numerous new breakthroughs, the popularity of this application has not seen a lasting increase.
