DIKSIA.COM - Ukrainian officials say Russia launched airstrikes in southern and eastern Ukraine using drones and ballistic missiles overnight.
“The southern port of Odessa and the regions of Mykolaiv, Donetsk, Kherson, Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk are under threat from Russian drone strikes,” the officials said.
“Russia could use ballistic weapons to attack Poltava, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv and Kirovohrad regions,” the official was quoted as saying by Al Jazeera.
The air raid warning ended around 04:30 local time.
Drone attack on Crimea
Russia's Defense Ministry said its forces repelled another major drone strike near Ukraine's annexed Black Sea Peninsula.
As the RIA Novosti news agency reported, a total of 28 Ukrainian unmanned missiles were shot down or diverted from their planned flight paths on Tuesday (07/18/2023).
Traffic on the Crimean Bridge is gradually recovering
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Chusnullin said road traffic had partially recovered.
“Angkots on the Crimean bridge were restored in reverse in the far right lane,” Khusnullin said on his Telegram channel.
However, the ferry service was suspended on Tuesday morning (07/18/2023) due to bad weather.
