Abeona serves as a complement to Koru, offering extra crew accommodation, a helipad with enclosed helicopter storage, and capacity for relief supplies. It also carries a fleet of smaller boats, such as tenders, jet skis, and submarines, that can be used for recreational or exploratory purposes. Abeona allows Bezos and his guests to access remote and exotic locations, and to enjoy a variety of activities and experiences on the water.
