Some comments have questioned why Jacob was already wearing a parachute, why he did not try to direct the plane to a safe landing area, and why he was carrying a selfie stick when he exited the plane.
Jacob also admitted to falsifying the accident report he filed after the crash and lying to investigators. His pilot license was revoked by the Federal Aviation Administration since last year.
