DIKSIA.COM - CALIFORNIA, Apple is conducting a major overhaul of its iconic Apple Watch, with the possible release of the “Apple Watch X” sometime in 2024 or 2025.
The launch of the device also marks the 10th anniversary of the production of the Apple Watch.
As is well known, the tech giant based in Cupertino, USA, launched its first series of smartwatches on September 9th, 2014.
Leaked Apple Watch X specs
Recently, well-known Apple analyst Mark Gurman leaked a bit about the specs of this smartwatch.
According to Gurman, the Apple Watch X will feature a slimmer design and will introduce a new magnetic system for attaching the band.
The Apple Watch's current design, which tucks the strap to the side and locks it, reportedly takes up more space inside the device and limits upgrades like a bigger battery.
Gurman suggested that Apple change the magnetic installation method, which may allow more room for upgrades, which may affect device compatibility. However, details of how this system will work on the Watch X are still uncertain.
Beyond the changes in appearance, the Apple Watch X could also introduce advanced elements like a micro-LED display and blood pressure monitoring sensors.
According to 9to5mac, this shift could be as significant as the move from the iPhone 7 to the iPhone X and potentially signal a shift in Apple's approach.
