Bamsoet also explained that the Selaparan Lombok MXGP International Circuit, which was used for the first time to host the MXGP, was located at the former Selaparan Airport.

The circuit is 1,600 meters long and 500 x 144 meters wide, with moderate wind pressure and easy operation of earthmoving machinery.

The circuit also has 16 turns and some jump areas. The MXGP Seraparan International Circuit is located on the site of a former airport, so there is ample parking space for spectator vehicles.

Previously, NTB also successfully hosted the MNC MXGP Samota Indonesia 2023 which was held from Saturday to Sunday (23rd June 24th-25th June) at Samota International Circuit in NTB.

This is the second time Samota is hosting the MXGP, having previously hosted the successful MXGP at the Samota International Circuit on June 25-26, 2022.

“The existence of the MXGP Selaparan International Circuit in Lombok has marked the history of NTB in the development of auto racing in Indonesia and even in the world.
