DIKSIA.COM - LONDON – British battery manufacturer Nyobolt has launched an EV car with a super-electric battery that can be recharged from zero in a fraction of the time.

It usually takes about 45-60 minutes to charge an electric vehicle battery. However, with a special battery technology developed by Nyobolt, it is claimed to be able to recharge in 6 minutes with a supercharger.

As reported by National World, the company's publicist “officially announced new battery technology that can charge at twice the average duration and refuel in about six minutes.” .

This innovative technology is announced after Nyovolt has conducted 2,000 experiments over the past few years by engineering chemical cell materials such as traditional Li-ion.

In addition to being able to recharge 10 times faster than conventional , these are also claimed to be able to withstand heat and accelerate the deterioration of battery components.

Unfortunately, the output of the Nyobolt battery is only 35 kWh and the range is 250 km. It is small compared to the driving of the Tesla Model S electric vehicle, which can drive up to 650 kilometers.

Nonetheless, it is argued that electric batteries could reduce costs and material use, under a recent government program that is actively appealing for a campaign to phase out new diesel or gasoline vehicles by 2030.

Sai Shivaredi, CEO of New Volt, said: “Our partnership demonstrates how the introduction of technological innovation increases the ease of EV use. This includes the 40% of households who cannot recharge their car in the middle of the night.”

The battery is scheduled to be released to the general public in 2024, along with sports-designed EVs fitted with 19-inch aluminum wheels made by Nyobolt.

“So far, our new electric battery is still in the early stages of testing, but will be launched in 2024 alongside the 100mm wide Nyobolt electric vehicle model with clamshell capability,” added Mr. Civaledi.
