Diksia.com - Harley-Davidson has launched a retro-style cruiser motorcycle called the HD X440 in India.
This motorcycle, which is the most affordable model from HD, will compete with the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Honda H’ness CB350.
The Harley-Davidson X440 is available in three colors, starting at 229,000 Rupees or approximately Rp 42 million, with the top variant selling for around 269,000 Rupees or Rp 49.3 million.
According to Bikewale, the X440 features a round integrated Harley-Davidson headlamp, a single-pod instrument cluster, flat handlebars, side exhaust, engine fins, and retro-style round indicator lights.
This motorcycle is equipped with a 440cc Single Cylinder Air-Oil Cooled engine, capable of producing a maximum power of 38 Hp and a torque of 40 Nm.
All the power generated is transmitted to the rear wheel through a 6-speed manual transmission that comes with slipper clutch assist technology.
As for the hardware, the X440 features inverted front forks, twin rear shocks, and disc brakes on both wheels.
There are also safety features expected to include dual-channel ABS and a side-stand cut-off engine function.
