DIKSIA.COM - JAKARTA, PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) said it saw sales increase in the first half of 2023 with a retail market share of 0.7 percent.
“Compared to last year, we have increased our market share by around 0.6 to 0.7 percent. In the first half of this year, our market share was 4 percent of retail sales. So that's quite a big increase, but we still have a long way to go,” said Woojune Cha, President and Director of PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) on Monday (07/17/2023).
Hyundai's sales volume reached 20,000 units in the first half and hopes its business can be more competitive and gain a larger market share in the second half of 2023.
The company's optimism is supported by a number of new product lines that have been prepared, the latest Stargazer Essential and Stargazer X variants to be released at GIIAS 2023.

Based on Gaikindo data, Hyundai sold 18,441 vehicles in January-June 2023. The highest sales were 4,067 units in January 2023 and the lowest was 2,241 units in April. Hyundai will sell 31,966 vehicles in the two half-years of 2022.
