Diksia.com - PT Mercedes-Benz Indonesia (MBIna) officially started local assembly of its latest SUV model, the New GLC, in Indonesia on Tuesday (April 7, 2023).
MBIna and PT Mercedes-Benz Distribution Indonesia (MBDIna) held a roll-off event for the new GLC at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Wanaheran, Bogor.
Apart from that, MBDina also announced the official price of the new GLC. This is IDR 1,425,000,000 off-road.
The new GLC comes in three color options – Obsidian Black, Polar White and Selenite Gray – and is available from authorized Mercedes-Benz dealers.
Mr. Duk Jun Choi, President Director of PT Mercedes-Benz Distribution Indonesia, said that the GLC model is Mercedes-Benz’s best-selling model in the world and also in Indonesia, and this SUV contributed the most to sales in Indonesia. said that
“We recently unveiled the latest generation of the new GLC at the Stardrive event last June and now the first units in Indonesia have been successfully assembled locally by our team at our Wanaherang factory.
For Mercedes-Benz, it is an honor to be able to do this,” said Duk Joon Choi, “We will continue to work locally and assemble our customers’ favorite models, including the new GLC.”
The new GLC is equipped with a 1,999cc 4MATIC engine and an automatic transmission with a 9G-TRONIC. It can produce 258hp of power and 400nm of torque from 2,000 to 3,200rpm.
