Diksia.com - Mitsubishi will provide product updates for the 2024 version, including Outlander PHEV, Eclipse Cross, Outlander Sport and Mirage for the US market.

In addition, the company offers a two-year limited maintenance-free after-sales service for every 2024 model sold.

According to Carscoops, the Japanese automaker will now offer a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty and a five-year/60,000-mile warranty on all of its new vehicles. This service is intended to improve customer support.

As such, all 2024 models sold in the US come with a free 2-year/30,000-mile maintenance program that includes three oil and oil filter changes, one cabin air filter change, and three free tire changes.

All three free services also include a multipoint exam. Importantly, this service only applies to 2024 vehicles purchased from an authorized Mitsubishi Motors dealer and is only valid for the original owner, meaning it cannot be transferred to the next owner.

Mitsubishi has also made some model-specific changes for the 2024 model year. Starting with the Outlander Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV), now offered with a new Platinum Edition featuring Black Diamond paintwork and an Alloy Silver roof.

The SEL Black Edition variant introduced in 2023 will also continue to be offered, however the new version features black premium semi-aniline leather seats, black dynamic fenders, black chrome window trim and black roof rails.

Also the regular Outlander 2024 is offered with the same SEL Platinum Edition and Black Edition.

Then there’s the Eclipse Cross 2024, which now has a hands-free electronic tailgate with pedal motion sensors on SE and SEL models.

The SE variant also comes standard with adaptive cruise control, a rear USB port and a leather steering wheel.

The LE variant now comes standard with a two-year trial of Mitsubishi Connect and the FAST key entry system, while an unspecified special edition will be introduced later this year.

For 2024, the Outlander Sport will also be available in a new Trail Edition with black hood graphics, new front and rear detailing, black side fender moldings, black hood and tailgate trim, mudflaps, black inner door handle guards and all-weather protection.
