Diksia.com - Public interest in new vehicles is on the rise, fueled by an increase in the latest models, including electric vehicles.
But on the other hand, some people don’t want to be burdened with the maintenance cost of their car.
In response to this market demand, PT Mitra Pinasthika Mustika Rent (MPMRent) has expanded its vehicle rental business by introducing a subscription vehicle service that allows anyone to switch vehicles to the latest models every year.
Called “MPMRent Car Subscription,” the service allows users to rent the latest model car for 12 months with minimal risk and without the high costs associated with buying a new car.
Rizki Aditiya Imanda, GM of Commercial MPMRent, said MPMRent Car Subscription allows customers to get the car they want for one year, including electric vehicle variants, without paying a down payment (DP).
“Funds that should be set aside to purchase a new car can be allocated to other more productive posts,” he said in a written statement quoted on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
He added that the service also offers the flexibility to change the car model during the rental period.
He explained that the cars rented through the service consist of different types and models, making it more diverse.
His party is responsible for regular maintenance along with necessary spare parts so that tenants do not have to spend time servicing and repairing themselves.
He said the service is also supported by a 24-hour roadside assistance service for the duration of the subscription and Personal Accident Passanger (PAP) insurance for passengers.
For the time being, this service is only available in the Jabodetabek area, but the rental car will continue to be available for trips outside Jabodetabek.
“For now, we are still offering this service in the Jabodetabek region, but we do not rule out the possibility of expanding to other regions,” Rizki said.
