Diksia.com - JAKARTA, Hyundai Motor Indonesia unveiled the latest variant of the Stargazer, Essential, on Monday (07/17/2023) in South Jakarta. The Essential variant will replace the existing Trend variant.
Woojune Cha, President and Director of PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID), said he hopes consumers will like the latest variant launched.
“We released the Essential trim as the latest type. We hope this will be accepted by consumers,” said Woojune Cha at the launch at the Hyundai Driving Experience in Jakarta on Monday (07/17/2023).
The newest features of the Stargazer Essential variant include LED daytime running lights without chrome accents, full LED headlights like the Prime type, door handles with chrome accents and a gloss black grille.
This type is equipped with Smart Keyless, Remote Engine and Remote Open Window, and Engine Start-Stop, which is an improvement over the previous type.
In addition, the MID or instrument cluster screen is full LCD, the door panels of row 1 and 2 doors are equipped with soft-touch material.
Interestingly, the dashboard has been flattened by accessing a gloss black piano finish. The AC panel also has a glossy black piano accent.
As far as safety is concerned, the Essential variant is equipped with 6 airbags, VSA, HSA, ABS and a tire pressure monitoring function. Essential also comes with four driving modes, namely Smart, Eco, Sport and Comfort.
Alongside the introduction of the Essential variant, Hyundai is also offering minor updates to the Prime type, including the rear brakes, which have discs instead of drums. There is a safety function, the electric parking brake and the automatic hold function. New, flatter dashboard with access to Gloss Piano Black finish. The appearance of the air conditioner with glossy black piano accents and the SOS button changes to red.
In addition, Hyundai also offers captain’s seat options for the Essential variant. However, this feature was only available on the Prime trim level.
“We received feedback from consumers on the exterior and interior, particularly the top gauge housing, the features for the bottom tier, and the security features for the bottom variant,” said HMID product expert Bonar Pakpahan.
For its racing heart, Hyundai still buries the 1,497cc, 4-cylinder, 16-valve MPI (Multi Point Injection) engine.
The question of the price of the latest Stargazer variant Essential starts at IDR 228,557,000 for the manual variant and IDR 240,671,000 for the IVT variant.
Meanwhile, New Prime is offered to consumers at a price of IDR 281,880,240. All prices are based on the DKI Jakarta Off-Road program.
