Article 283
Anyone who drives a motor vehicle on the road in an unreasonable manner and engages in other activities or is influenced by a situation that leads to a distraction within the meaning of Section 106 (1) when driving on the road shall be punished with imprisonment for a maximum of 3 (three) months or one fine. maximum IDR 750,000.00 (seven hundred and fifty thousand rupiah).
Article 297
Anyone found to be driving a motorized vehicle within the meaning of Article 115(b) on the road shall be punishable by imprisonment for a maximum of one (one) year or a fine of up to Rp. 3,000,000.00 (Rs. three million).
Article 311
(1) Any person who willfully drives a motorized vehicle in a manner or condition endangering life or property shall be punished with imprisonment for a period not exceeding one (one) year or a fine not exceeding Rp. 3,000,000.00 ( three million rupees) fined. .
(2) If the act referred to in paragraph (1) leads to a traffic accident with damage to the vehicle and/or goods as referred to in Article 229, paragraph (2), the perpetrator shall be punished with imprisonment for a maximum of 2 (two) years or one Fine of maximum Rp. 4,000,000.00 (four million rupiah).
(3) If the act within the meaning of paragraph (1) leads to a traffic accident with minor injuries and damage to the vehicle and/or property within the meaning of Article 229 paragraph (3), the perpetrator shall be liable with a maximum prison sentence of 4 (four ) years or a maximum fine of Rp. 8,000,000.00 (eight million rupiah).
