DIKSIA.COM - SEOUL, Samsung is rumored to release the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic smartwatches on July 26, 2023 along with the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Tab S9 series.
A week before the start, leaks regarding the specifications of the Galaxy Watch 6 and the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic became known.
According to a tipster from Snoopy Tech, the Galaxy Watch 6 will come in two sizes, namely 40mm and 44mm.
Both variants have AMOLED screens with a resolution of 432 x 432 pixels on the 40mm model and 480 x 480 pixels on the 44mm model.
The device will come with a 300mAh battery for the 40mm model and a 425mAh battery for the 44mm model.
When it comes to color choices, Samsung offers three color options namely Graphite Grey, Gold and Silver.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will also come in two size options, namely 43mm and 47mm.
Both models feature AMOLED screens with a resolution of 480 x 480 pixels for the 47mm variant and 432 x 432 pixels for the 43mm variant.
Additionally, both models feature a physical rotating stainless steel bezel.
The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic has a 300mAh capacity battery for the 43mm variant and a 425mAh battery for the 47mm variant.
The device will be available in black and silver color options.
The Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic are powered by the Exynos W930 processor and paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
Both smartwatches have sensors like accelerometer, magnetometer, barometer, gyroscope, temperature and compass.
The Watch 6 series offers common features such as Wear OS, Wi-Fi, 4G (optional), NFC, GPS and Bluetooth 5.3.
The device also offers a variety of health-related features, including a pedometer, heart rate monitor, calorie counter, ECG, SpO2 tracking, and sleep tracking.
