Track Tesla investments
On another occasion, Luhut announced that after a visit to China in early August, he would travel to California to receive the Tesla CEO’s promise regarding Tesla’s investment plans in Indonesia.
“I want to meet Elon on August 2nd, we want final confirmation on Tesla’s investment in Indonesia,” Luhut said.
The meeting was deliberately planned after the public’s assumption that Indonesia was currently being removed from the list of countries that would become Tesla’s investment locations, in favor of Malaysia and India.
